We nurture heritage breeds with purpose, focusing on the health and quality of our flock. From the deep brown eggs of the Black Langshan to the speckled green eggs of the Silverudd Blue, our breeding programs prioritize health and the preservation of agricultural knowledge.
Our Cane Corsos are bred for sound temperament and raised as family guardians. We believe in responsible husbandry and the importance of a strong bond between humans and animals, ensuring every dog is raised with intention and care.
At StoneHeart Heritage Acres, we practice responsible animal husbandry. Our family homestead is built on knowing where our food comes from, caring for animals and land, and passing those values to the next generation.

Black Langshan
Snowfall Farms genetics; breeding toward Standard of Perfection; show-winning line including Best of Show at the 2026 Randolph Fair; large brown eggs, some hens with heavy pink/plum bloom.
Silverudd Blue
Breeding for quality birds, green egg color, speckling and bloom.
Ermine Ameraucana
Blue egg genetics; upcoming breeding program.

Blue Alchemy Project
Blue Birchen Marans and F1 Easter Egger hens under a Silverudd Blue rooster; experimental blue, green and olive egg genetics.
Confetti Bloom Project
Welsummer, Easter Egger and Olive Egger hens under an F2 BC/BCM rooster from heavy-speckled, heavily bloomed genetics; selected for fun egg colors, bloom and speckling.

Our Cane Corsos are bred for sound temperament and raised as family guardians. We prioritize responsible animal husbandry and the preservation of heritage breeds for generations to come.
Foster & Babushka
Our two farm goats, Foster and Babushka, are the heart of our homestead. They bring companionship, comedy, and personality to everyday farm life — a daily reminder of the simple, authentic life we live and the heritage we're dedicated to preserving.
Hatching Availability
Price List
Our hatching eggs are available for local pickup only in Kent, Ohio. Black Langshan — $45 for 6 (+1 extra), $80 for a dozen (+2 extras). Silverudd Blue — $35 for 6 (+1 extra), $60 for a dozen (+2 extras). Blue Alchemy Project — $30 for 6 (+1 extra), half-dozen only. Confetti Bloom Project — $30 for 6 (+1 extra), $50 for a dozen (+2 extras). Straight-run and DNA-sexed chicks available by request.
Flock Health
We prioritize the health and well-being of our flock. Our birds are Pullorum-tested, and we are currently working toward full NPIP certification along with Avian Influenza testing for our entire breeding population.
Policies
Our hatching eggs are collected fresh, fertility-checked, and packed with care — but we can't guarantee hatch rates, since incubation, handling, and conditions after pickup are out of our hands. All egg sales are final.
Rooted in Heritage
We are a family homestead built on knowing where our food comes from. Farming means early mornings, dirty boots, difficult decisions, incredible victories, and occasional spectacular failures — and we wouldn't trade it.
